Longing For My Lost Friend...SPRING

Spring... oh how I long for your days to finally be upon us.

I long for your heavy morning dew...no more frost.

The lizards are ready to come awake and take their place on the brick wall surrounding the patio.

Aww, but what I long for the most is the trickle of water in my fountain surrounded by lush green...no more fountain filled with green water and dead oak leaves.

Ok Spring...I am ready to say goodbye to Mr. Winter and welcome you home like a long lost friend.

Love the picture of the little lizard-So cute! Spring keeps trying to show up here in Seattle, buds are starting to form on the trees and primroses are popping up...Just in time to greet the snow that is in this weeks forecast! Happens every year!

You and me both! I am so over this winter. I am ready to see my beautiful rose garden. Hopefully soon...tomorrow it will be in the 70's here.

Thanks for the flowers and sand today. I now have blisters and a sore back but my yard is starting to wake up. Yours looks great!

I can't wait for spring either! We had 70-75 degree weather for the past few days and then back to 40's. What a tease!!

Melissa,
I am ready for spring, too! And guess what? They are calling for 3-5 inches of snow in Pa tonight!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photo's...at least I know one of us is enjoying some spring weather! The little lizard is adorable, my kids would love seeing him in the yard!
Take care,
Wendy

Missy,

Your photographs are beautiful as is the sentiment expressed. I too am ready to play in my garden, but fear we have at least one more snow storm to weather in NJ.

Your Friend,
Deborah
