DRESS ME UP

I just love my window to the outside, but when we gave our kitchen a make over they removed my plantation shutters to install the new tile.
Of course that's when the truth came out.
Camo Man, aka my husband, said he hated my shutters. Well lets just say he did not have them reinstalled.
That left me with a naked window...yikes!

I was on the hunt for some fabric...Ah..heaven for me...I have a little addiction to fabric.

The one below was to busy and Camo Man said "No more flowers."

This was fantastic, oh that  gorgeous grey that is so in style.
But way outta budget for these kitchen curtains and it really did not look all that great. (Note you can see the sample hanging in the first picture).
Even if something is in style and current, if it does not work or is not over the top fabulous, just do not use it.

While out on an adventure with Susie.  I spotted some drapery panels that I thought just might work.
TIP *    If you want your drapery to look like you had a professional make them, just add inexpensive backing to them.

Then I had to frufru them up a bit with a little trim.

Took a little needle and thread to add a few gathers.

And there you have it, my new curtain made from a store bought panel.
I will have to show you what I did with the left over fabric I cut off.

Thank you for stopping by,
